Subject: Twiss & calibration tables From: Jorg WENNINGER Date: Mon, 27 Sep 2004 15:43:26 +0200 To: Mike Lamont , Lionel Mestre Hi Mike, For the 25 ns run I need a twiss with Qx = 26.825 and Qy = 26.74 (I propose a name like SPS-HIGHQ-04...). I will also need a twiss for the standard tunes of 26.62/26.58, but with the Q split for slow extraction that we use on the flat top (in that case KQF1 != KQF2, I propose a name like SPS-QSPLIT-04...). Concerning calibration tables : Magnet type(s) I max (A) BL max (Tm) =============================================== MDH,MDHA +- 3.5 +- 0.0343 MDV,MDVA +- 3.5 +- 0.0186 MDHD +- 20 +- 0.0226 MDVB +- 3.5 +- 0.0315 Here the magnet type refers directly to the first part of the element name. Note that there is only one MDHD (~ MDHD.118...) and one MDVB (MDVB.517...). The normal and enlarged ('A' tag) magnets have nominally the same fields. Assume the calibration is linear a goed through 0... Cheers, Jorg
